C&I staff have teamed up with Imperial College NHS Trust and other organisations to perform in a 90 strong choir at the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup Final at Wembley Stadium on 29th August 2015.
Staff from across the divisions will be taking part and this will be aired live on BBC 1 from 2.30pm.
Those taking part include Margaret Deas from Bed Management, Priti Surendran an Assistant Practitioner, Orlanda Cruz from the Executive office, Zipporah Jempeji from HR and Breda Lyons, Occupational Therapist.
C&I’s health and wellbeing manager, Zipporah Jempeji, has been working hard to ensure staff are able to get involved in extra activities which boost their wellbeing.
"Physical activity is at the heart of the trust’s wellbeing strategy, with workplace yoga, pilates and sports massage sessions. At least one day of week, there’s something people can do.
"However, opportunities like this are equally important. These little things can have a great impact on mental health. For some it's a once in a lifetime chance so I'm delighted C&I is able to get involved."
The Challenge Cup is Rugby League's most historic and prestigious competition and is the only knock-out tournament of its kind to include teams from all levels of the sport. The match will see the Leeds Rhinos face Hull KR.
