Haringey Podcast by Young People for Young People

Our Haringey 18-25 Transitions team is launching a new podcast! It is coproduced with young people from the local community, created and led by Adam Ghellache (Assistant Psychologist).

This is a podcast by young people, for young people, as well as the people in their lives (such as friends, family, professionals, community leaders) that they would like to share their experiences with to raise awareness on the issues young people feel are really important.

Through a series of authentic conversations, the podcast aims to create a space for young people to feel empowered to discuss the intersectional issues they feel are overlooked in relation to their mental health, both within and outside of the NHS, and to their journeys transitioning from childhood to adulthood as a whole. This podcast will solve this.

The pilot series’ episode themes will be:

o   Sexuality

o   Neurodivergence

o   Trauma in the NHS

o   Gender

o   Immigration

o   A Young Person’s Story

o   Race

o   Anxiety and Coping

They are recording at the moment and expect episodes in June 2024. Watch this space for further updates.
